Manager, Mid-Market Sales (AMER)

Notion is a fast-growing tech company with over 100 million users, focused on enabling users to tailor their software solutions. They seek an experienced Sales Manager to lead and develop the AMER Mid-Market Sales team, driving new customer acquisition and revenue growth within a subscription and usage-based model.

Skills

  • Proven sales leadership managing full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
  • Strong coaching and team empowerment capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in startup environments with ambiguity and rapid iteration.
  • High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills including negotiation and persuasion.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills within a regional leadership context.
  • Passion for recurring revenue growth business models and customer empathy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute revenue growth strategies for the AMER Mid-Market segment in collaboration with the Head of Sales.
  • Recruit, manage, and mentor a team of Account Executives, setting performance goals and fostering high achievement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Strategy, Marketing, Customer Success, and Solutions Engineering.
  • Refine customer journey and onboarding processes to maximize long-term customer success.
  • Engage with Product and Commercial teams to enhance Ideal Customer Profile and sales motions.
  • Contribute to building Notion's sales foundation and establish NYC GTM team operations.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
