Responsibilities
- Lead preparation and review of quarterly and annual income tax provisions under ASC 740.
- Oversee federal and state income tax returns, estimates, and extensions for multiple entities.
- Manage responses to federal and state audit inquiries and tax notices.
- Lead tax planning initiatives, research, and develop compliant tax strategies.
- Prepare or review tax journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
- Monitor tax law changes and provide internal guidance to ensure compliance.
- Maintain and improve internal tax controls and processes.
- Lead R&D tax credit processes in collaboration with internal teams and external advisors.
- Draft technical memos to substantiate tax positions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on tax initiatives and special projects.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- CPA certification required.
