- Strong foundation in computer science including data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and software design.
- Experience with modern web frameworks and API development.
- Proficiency with Git workflows via GitHub or equivalent.
- Good grasp of relational data models, preferably with PostgreSQL.
- Security-first mindset with knowledge of OAuth2 and OWASP mitigation techniques as a plus.
- Passion for clean code architecture and software craftsmanship.
- Ability to write unit and integration tests.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain multiple codebases using Elixir/Phoenix, LiveView, React, and functional programming.
- Build and optimize REST and gRPC APIs for customer-facing products.
- Ensure high reliability, performance, scalability, and security of account-related services.
- Improve observability and monitoring for deployed features serving large user bases.
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to design and review new features.
- Mentor fellow developers within the team and organization.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
