US Tax Manager
📍 Remote | Full-Time | $3500 /month
🕗 Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST
We are hiring a seasoned US Tax Manager to oversee the technical review and compliance of our dual-POD tax team. This critical leadership role ensures the accuracy, efficiency, and quality of business, trust, and complex individual tax returns. You'll work closely with preparers and Practice Managers to mentor staff, uphold firm standards, and maintain a smooth, systematized workflow.

✨ Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the firm-wide tax reviewer for business, trust, and 1040 returns
- Support and mentor tax preparers and Practice Managers
- Maintain and enhance SOPs, review checklists, and internal best practices
- Proactively resolve technical and compliance issues before escalation
- Ensure all deliverables meet the firm’s quality and compliance standards
🎓 Qualifications:
- Active CPA or EA license (required)
- 7+ years of experience in tax preparation and technical review
- In-depth knowledge of 1120S, 1065, 1041, and complex 1040 filings
- Proven experience leading or managing tax preparers or departments
- Strong communication skills and a passion for mentoring
- Experience in real estate, professional services, or medical industries is a plus

- ProConnect, QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat
- Familiarity with TaxDome or similar tax workflow tools
- Comfortable with cloud-based collaboration and e-file processes
