Head of Strategic Finance

Senra Systems is entering an exciting phase of growth, and we’re hiring our first Head of Strategic Finance to build and own our financial strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll serve as a core member of the leadership team, owning financial strategy, decision-making frameworks, and planning processes that will guide our next chapter. This is a rare, high-impact opportunity to lead and build the finance function as we enter a pivotal stage of growth.

What you'll own:

• Spearhead the company’s financial strategy to drive sound, data-backed decisions that drive growth, operational efficiency, and long-term success
• Build and manage comprehensive financial models and budgets, including monthly, annual, and multi-year forecasts
• Improve the quality of financial inputs, align forecasts with actuals, and drive accountability across teams to strengthen financial planning
• Translate data into action by informing go-to-market strategy, capital allocation, and cross-functional priorities
• Lead investor and board communications through compelling financial narratives that support fundraising and strategic alignment
• Deliver analysis on pricing, expansion, and investment decisions to help the company allocate resources effectively and maximize ROI
• Drive process improvements that reduce cost, improve accuracy, and enhance financial performance, while increasing financial visibility through scalable systems and reporting
• Hire, manage, and develop future members of the finance team, starting with oversight of an accounting manager
  

What you'll bring to the team:

• 8+ years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity or venture capital, or strategic finance at a high-growth company, ideally between Series A and C
• 1–2+ years of experience managing and developing high-performing team members. You lead with clarity, set a high bar, and invest in others’ growth
• Meaningful operator experience. You’ve worked inside a business and know how to apply financial insights in real-world, fast-paced environments. Ideally, you have experience in manufacturing, hardware, or vertically integrated environments.
• A hands-on, self-directed approach with comfort navigating ambiguity and scaling structure from an early foundation
• Ability to influence and align executive and cross-functional stakeholders through clear communication, credibility, and sound business judgment
• Proven ability to build and manage end-to-end financial models, budgets, and forecasts that inform both strategy and execution
• Strong understanding of capital strategy, investor relations, and financial storytelling
• Familiarity with modern finance tools, trends, and best practices. You stay sharp and ensure your team stays ahead of the curve
• Experience implementing systems and reporting infrastructure that support growth without adding unnecessary complexity

Compensation:  

• Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.  
• Salary Range: $175,000-$225,000
• This is an onsite role at our headquarters in Redondo Beach, CA.
