Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans aligning revenue cycle performance with company goals
- Oversee all aspects of the revenue cycle including patient access, billing, coding, collections, and denials management
- Track key performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
- Use data analytics to guide decisions and communicate performance to senior leadership
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing, collaborative team
- Manage payer relationships and resolve complex reimbursement issues
- Optimize use of EHR and practice management systems and recommend new tools to increase efficiency
Education
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, finance, or related field
- Master’s degree preferred
