Position Summary:
The Director of Compliance & Patient Safety is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and oversight of programs that ensure regulatory compliance and promote a culture of safety across the organization. This role collaborates with clinical and administrative leaders to monitor, evaluate, and improve safety and compliance performance. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field. Master’s preferred.
Experience: Minimum 5–7 years of experience in healthcare compliance, risk management, or quality/safety leadership role. Strong knowledge of regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and patient safety frameworks.
Licensure: RN license required, Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS), or similar credential preferred.
