Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
- Manage audit processes and liaise with external auditors
- Maintain compliance with financial regulations
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff (4 members)
- Develop and maintain internal controls
- Collaborate with various campus departments
- Serve as a Banner Finance system expert
- Implement new accounting procedures and system enhancements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
