Business Development Manager - English Caribbean - (Fortinet) - CCA

Job Description:

At TD SYNNEX, we are looking for a Business Development Manager (Fortinet) for our CCA (Caribbean Central America) Organization specialized in Fortinet cybersecurity solutions to lead our business strategy across the English Caribbean region.

This role will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing business opportunities, driving growth and market positioning for Fortinet in the B2B segment.

The Business Development Manager demonstrates strong business and financial acumen, leadership skills, and effective communication and influencing abilities.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Fortinet solutions in the Caribbean region.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic accounts and key channel partners.

  • Identify new business opportunities in B2B environments through consultative sales approaches.

  • Collaborate closely with presales and technical teams to deliver tailored value propositions.

  • Conduct commercial presentations and enablement sessions for partners and end customers.

  • Coordinate marketing campaigns, demand generation activities, and regional events.

  • Create accurate sales forecasts and periodic business reports.

  • Represent the company at cybersecurity-related conferences, summits, and events.

  • Ensure high levels of partner and customer satisfaction in line with TD SYNNEX and Fortinet standards.

  • Assist in per development, training, & coaching, lead on complex issues

  • Attend industry specific business trainings from vendors .

  • Performs other additional duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in commercial roles (BDM, Account Manager, Channel Manager) within the tech industry.

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (C1 level or higher) is mandatory.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and local languages, including formal presentations and negotiation abilities.

  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity solutions, ideally with direct experience in Fortinet.

  • Experience in handling B2B sales cycles and working with enterprise accounts.

  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and strategic selling skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a commitment to task completion.

  • Adaptability to change and ability to perform well under pressure.

  • Upholds social, ethical, and organizational standards with a commitment to confidentiality.

  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Other Education/Certifications:

  • Fortinet Certified Associate, FCA desired

Working Conditions:

  • Availability to travel within the Caribbean (up to 30%).

  • Residency on a Caribbean island or willingness to relocate by your own means.

  • Willingness to work non-standard hours or overtime occasionally.

  • Able to work in a professional office or remote environment.

  • Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in all sales-oriented activities.
