As a Business Development Representative at Topline Pro, you’ll be on the front lines of our mission to help service pros grow their businesses. This is a full-cycle sales role where you’ll spend your days talking to real people, listening, asking smart questions, and helping them understand how we can make their lives easier. You’ll be selling into the SMB market with an average sales cycle of one week — urgency, follow-up discipline, and focus are critical to success. Qualify inbound and outbound leads, run discovery calls, deliver tailored demos, and close new business; all lead sources are provided
Execute high-volume outreach daily across phone, email, and text — including 100+ cold calls each day to small business owners
Manage a dynamic sales pipeline, with tight follow-up loops and task discipline
Iterate on messaging based on real-time feedback and conversations to improve results
Collaborate with teammates and share customer insights that inform sales strategy, product development, and onboarding
Maintain post-sale touchpoints when needed and ensure a smooth handoff to the customer success team
Drive a fast-moving sales process, typically closing new accounts within one week of first contact
Recent Grad or 1+ years of experience in sales or customer-facing roles; bonus points if you’ve worked with small businesses
Willingness to reach out cold across phone, email, and text, and a genuine desire to sharpen your skills through high-volume cold calling
Ability to manage dozens of relationships at once while staying organized, focused, and responsive
Excitement about working in a lean, fast-moving startup where no two days are the same
Strong written and verbal communication skills, you know how to keep things clear, concise, and compelling
Coachable attitude with a growth mindset, eager to learn from feedback, and improve quickly

$55k base salary with uncapped commissions ($100k+ OTE) + equity package
