Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve basic technical support requests from police, fire, and EMS field personnel.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop and mobile devices including laptops, tablets, and accessories.
- Assist with setup and troubleshooting of mobile data computers, printers, and docking stations.
- Perform routine OS and public safety application maintenance and updates.
- Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level analysts or team leads.
- Document support activities and resolutions in the ITSM system.
- Maintain and track inventory of assigned IT equipment and accessories.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation with one-hour response times for critical incidents.
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- One relevant technical support certification
