Responsibilities
- Coordinate city engineering projects related to water and sewer infrastructure
- Inspect and administer contracts for water and sanitary sewer projects
- Prepare, review, and evaluate construction bids, cost estimates, and change orders
- Respond to public and internal inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
- Conduct research and resolve engineering problems
- Assist construction inspectors with interpretation of plans and problem resolution
- Review as-built plans for compliance with original designs
- Perform field inspections to verify accuracy of construction plans and specifications
- Work under supervision of a Senior Professional Engineer
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related engineering discipline from an accredited institution
