Director, Transformation Delivery, Tax & Accounting

About the Role

 

As the Director of Transformation Delivery in TAAP on the Business Integration team, you'll drive strategic initiatives that align with our top business priorities. You'll oversee the entire delivery process, including defining & designing requirements, structuring roadmaps, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and measuring impact. You will enable business leaders to own critical changes by asking thoughtful questions and researching current needs and processes. This role emphasizes customer focus, innovative solutions, and rapid iteration to achieve results.

  • End-to-end project delivery - Own complete delivery lifecycle from discovery to sustainable outcomes for quarterly initiatives

  • Problem discovery and scoping - Conduct empathy work to understand current state problems, pain points, and refine initiative scope

  • Team formation and solution development - Quickly stand up cross-functional teams and lead ideation to propose recommended solutions

  • Stakeholder facilitation and decision-making - Facilitate feedback with leaders and key stakeholders to drive rapid decision-making

  • Implementation planning and execution - Partner with business leaders to define and execute implementation plans with speed and precision

  • Change management and communications - Develop comprehensive change management strategies and communication plans for successful adoption

  • Agility championing and sustainability - Drive agile practices throughout TAAP business while ensuring long-term sustainability through leadership coaching

 

About You

  • Education & Experience - Bachelor's degree with 7+ years in project management, agile coaching, or business leadership roles, plus 10+ years of business domain/technical experience

  • Customer-Centric Problem Solver - Relentless focus on internal and external customers with deep analytical capabilities to identify root causes and co-create solutions through rapid iteration

  • Strategic & Tactical Leader - Ability to think strategically while executing tactically, building project roadmaps and motivating teams to deliver results

  • Influential Relationship Builder - Strong interpersonal skills to quickly build trust and credibility with leaders at all levels, driving outcomes that benefit business and employees

  • Change Agent & Facilitator - Advanced facilitation skills with ability to challenge status quo, ask tough questions, and optimize team interactions while fostering collaborative culture

  • Adaptable & Resilient - High energy, passionate outlook with persistence through obstacles and flexibility to adjust to rapidly changing business requirements

  • Business Acumen & Collaboration Tools - Strong understanding of Thomson Reuters' value proposition and customer markets, with experience in MS Teams/Planner for virtual collaboration

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.

For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $135,800 - $252,200.

This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
