Skills
- Proficiency in high-level programming languages with ability to build command-line tools handling JSON input.
- Experience operating cloud infrastructure in SaaS environments, preferably AWS including ECS, RDS, Elasticache, ALB.
- Familiarity or eagerness to learn Ruby and TypeScript preferred but not required.
- Ability to work across backend, frontend, and infrastructure components as a versatile engineer.
- Strong focus on simplicity and pragmatic solutions using common tools like Ruby, Rails, React, TypeScript, Postgres, Redis, Docker.
Responsibilities
- Build effective solutions addressing customer challenges by collaborating closely with colleagues.
- Implement valuable code changes rapidly with deployment to production within minutes.
- Identify and remediate availability risks and monitoring gaps to maintain system health.
- Write and review high-quality, well-tested code ensuring a stable and maintainable codebase.
- Proactively find and share improvements for the codebase and team processes.
- Own software solutions end-to-end from development through production support.
- Contribute to various projects including code execution features, database upgrades, SSO configurations, and metrics development.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to improve customer upgrade experiences and participate in community knowledge sharing.
