Motion Graphics Designer (for Livestream/OBS)
We are looking for a creative and technically sharp Motion Graphics Designer (for Livestream/OBS) to take our streams to the next level. From animated overlays and stingers to real-time browser integrations, you'll help shape a dynamic viewing experience that keeps our community engaged and energized.
- Design animated overlays, stingers, alerts, lower-thirds, and transitions for OBS
- Create brand-consistent visual effects across all stream scenes and camera layouts
- Collaborate with content teams to design scenes that enhance viewer engagement and clarity
- Export motion graphics (WebM with alpha, Lottie files, image sequences)
- Integrate real-time browser overlays (chat, donation tickers, data feeds) via StreamElements, Streamlabs, or custom HTML/JS
- Configure and test plugins, transitions, macros, and scene triggers
- Monitor performance (CPU/GPU usage, latency) and optimize assets accordingly
- Stay updated with OBS plugin developments and visual design trends
- Create template systems for rapid asset deployment across streamers/shows
- 2–4 years in motion design, broadcast design, or live streaming production
- Portfolio showing overlays, stingers, transitions, or live broadcast graphics
- Experience working with livestreamers, creators, or commerce teams is a big plus
- Required: OBS Studio, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Preferred: StreamFX, Move Transition, Shaderfilter, Touch Portal/SAMMI, Stream Deck
- Bonus: HTML/CSS/JS for browser-based overlays, or knowledge of VCam/NDI setups
- Strong understanding of scene flow, timing, and viewer attention
- Ability to balance aesthetics with performance (file size, render load)
- Organized, self-directed, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
