Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and operate electronics piece parts control plans for human rated space station programs
- Tailor industry standards like EEE-INST-002 and NASA-STD-8739.10 balancing reliability, cost, and development speed
- Manage parts database for screening, qualification, and monitoring against sources such as GIDEP and Silicon Expert
- Advise engineers on part selection and reliability designs including FMECA/PFMECA and reliability experiments
- Support component failure analysis techniques such as NDA, DPA, x-ray, CT scan, SEM, and cross sectioning
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to support electronics parts success
- Promote a culture of excellence, ownership, and safety
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering, physics, materials science, or related discipline
