A growing technology consulting firm is seeking a Vice President of Delivery Services to lead its ERP implementation, cloud migration, and managed services operations. This is a critical leadership role, responsible for driving excellence across delivery execution, resource strategy, and client outcomes—while actively shaping the next stage of growth for the business.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator who understands both project delivery and strategic scaling. You’ll work cross-functionally with consulting, operations, sales, and executive leadership, serving as a key force behind project success, customer satisfaction, and internal team development.
Own the firm’s delivery strategy across ERP and AMS offerings, including implementation, migration, and long-term support projects
Establish best practices and frameworks that enhance quality, consistency, and efficiency across delivery teams
Lead project risk assessments and escalations, partnering with customer success and technical teams to resolve issues proactively
Coach delivery teams on execution standards and client engagement
Monitor delivery KPIs and ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) are met
Collaborate with pre-sales and client teams to validate project scope, timelines, and resourcing
Drive maturity in project methodologies from technical-only to techno-functional approaches
Maintain a ~20% personal utilization target annually (billable advisory/project involvement)
Serve as executive sponsor on select long-term engagements
Build out internal career paths and mentorship programs for global consulting staff
Identify high-potential talent, support recruiting initiatives, and manage performance
Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and growth across globally distributed teams
Develop documentation standards, project transitions, and delivery toolkits
Build and maintain a network of independent consultants to meet specialized client demands
Support financial oversight through delivery metrics, margin reviews, and utilization reports
Partner with sales to scope complex solutions, prepare proposals/SOWs, and co-present demos
Evangelize the firm’s capabilities in implementation, integration, and support services
Contribute to GTM strategy by identifying repeatable solutions and emerging client needs
Help scale a delivery model that balances operational efficiency with white-glove service
15+ years of experience in ERP consulting services (Infor M3 highly preferred), with proven leadership in project delivery, team management, and client engagement
5+ years specifically working with Infor M3 and related CloudSuites (multi-tenant cloud preferred)
Background in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain is highly advantageous
Experience with team structuring, mentorship, and talent development across multiple levels
Skilled at bridging technical and business conversations; comfortable working with both C-suite stakeholders and implementation teams
Strong operational mindset with a passion for process improvement and performance measurement
Financially savvy and comfortable using data to drive decisions
Open to travel up to 25% across the U.S. and Canada
