Overview:
You will build a world-class factory by leading day-to-day operations, owning cost and revenue targets, and receiving direct mentorship from current leadership.
Responsibilities:
Run day to day operations of our next factory in support of Amca’s mission and financial targets, with a focus on learning all aspects of the job, including but not limited to:
Customers and Business Development
Manage RFQs, customer relationships, and develop new sales opportunities within existing customer base
Represent the company at industry events and maintain relationships with key military and aerospace contractors
Lead the team in pursuing profitable new business while maintaining clear focus and priorities
Manufacturing Operations
Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery while overseeing supply chain, purchasing, and production
Direct material movement in classified/non-classified areas and manage production, final assembly, and testing processes for prototype and full-scale runs
Oversee drawing/part number revisions per MIL-STD specifications
Implement lean manufacturing principles in regulated environments and direct FOD prevention programs
Compliance
Maintain AS9100, ITAR, ISO 9001, and FAA certifications and support customer/government audits
Ensure facility meets requirements for classified work and special manufacturing processes
Oversee completion of FAIs and all required production documentation
Finance and Strategy
Oversee accounts, import/export compliance, and security programs while managing contracting regulations
Develop annual and long-term business plans to track performance and identify future growth opportunities
Provide oversight of sales force, cost estimation process, and pricing practices for contracts
Prepare and present business unit results with a leadership mindset, telling the story as an owner would
