- Strong expertise in FMEA/FMECA, HALT/HASS, Weibull analysis, Fault Tree Analysis.
- Proficient in predictive maintenance methodologies and product test campaign planning.
- Knowledge of MIL-STD-810, MIL-HDBK-217, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-516C, MIL-STD-1629 standards.
- Experience with reliability in safety-critical hardware and software systems, preferably defense/aerospace.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent cross-functional communication and leadership skills.
- Capability to rapidly staff and grow teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Reliability Engineers providing technical guidance and mentorship.
- Develop and implement Reliability & Maintainability program plans aligned with business and customer needs.
- Communicate and standardize Reliability organization vision and processes across product development stages.
- Conduct and review Reliability artifacts including FMEA/FMECA, Fault Tree Analysis, and Test Plans.
- Collaborate with design teams to develop reliability requirements and implement solutions at all system levels.
- Lead maintainability efforts including predictive maintenance analysis and MRO system development.
- Manage product and program risk databases ensuring effective mitigation strategies.
- Liaise with customers, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders on reliability matters.
- Drive continuous improvement in reliability processes and compliance with military and industry standards.
- Support proposal efforts, business development, and business operations improvements.
Education
- B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
