Tax Director

Angi® is a leading platform connecting homeowners with trusted professionals for home services. They seek a strategic Tax Director to lead tax compliance and provision in a dynamic marketplace environment, managing global tax matters and scaling processes to support growth.

Skills

Strong expertise in ASC 740 tax accounting and U.S. international tax compliance.
Proven experience managing tax provision processes for multinational companies.
Knowledge of OECD Pillar Two and BEPS 2.0 implementation.
Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite and Oracle, and tax compliance tools like OneSource and CorpTax.
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to scale tax processes in fast-paced, technology-driven environments.

Responsibilities

Lead quarterly and annual ASC 740 income tax provision processes including preparation, review, and disclosure.
Manage deferred taxes, valuation allowances, and uncertain tax positions across U.S. and international entities.
Ensure SOX-compliant internal controls over tax reporting and interface with external auditors.
Partner with global finance teams and advisors to ensure timely filing of U.S. federal, state, local, and international tax returns.
Maintain documentation for transfer pricing and foreign tax credit positions.
Monitor OECD, BEPS 2.0, and global tax reform developments and assess impacts.
Identify and implement strategic tax planning opportunities to reduce global effective tax rate.
Support M&A due diligence, structuring, and integration efforts from a tax perspective.
Evaluate tax impact of digital marketplace operations and evolving nexus rules.
Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Product teams to align tax strategy with business priorities.
Work with indirect tax team on nexus studies, marketplace facilitator rules, and audit responses.
Support transfer pricing policies and documentation for digital services, IP, and logistics.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
Master’s degree in Tax or JD/LLM preferred.
CPA certification preferred.
