- Familiarity with gossip, consensus, and WAL system design and protocols.
- Experience with large-scale systems exceeding 10,000 nodes and related challenges.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills under design constraints.
- Proficiency in Go or Rust programming languages.
Responsibilities
- Build secure and resilient distributed systems for secrets and key management across Cloudflare’s edge network.
- Design, benchmark, and optimize system proposals identifying performance bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with and contribute to open source projects to accelerate delivery.
Education
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or related field is typically expected.
