Senior Cybersecurity & Compliance Analyst
Skills
- Strong technical knowledge of systems engineering, including servers and Active Directory.
- Understanding of network fundamentals and cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
- Experience with cybersecurity compliance frameworks NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, and DFARS.
- Proven leadership in managing compliance assessments and regulatory audits.
- Certifications such as CMMC Certified Assessor, CISSP, or CISM.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Own and lead all compliance efforts for assigned clients, providing primary advisory on cybersecurity compliance.
- Communicate proactively with clients regarding compliance status, assessments, and remediation updates.
- Lead and execute regulatory compliance assessments including DFARS, NIST 800-171, and CMMC Maturity Level 2.
- Develop and manage System Security Plans (SSPs) and Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&M).
- Guide clients through internal and external audits ensuring readiness for certification.
- Develop and maintain compliance documentation such as policies, procedures, SSPs, and POA&Ms.
- Develop incident response plans, conduct tabletop exercises, and perform regular risk assessments.
- Deliver or facilitate client security awareness and specialized training programs.
Education
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications (CMMC, CISSP, CISM) required.
- Experience with Defense Industrial Base cybersecurity compliance.
