Job Title: Junior Recruiter
Location: On-site in Sterling Heights, MI
Pay Rate: $19 – $20 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
(Overtime and occasional weekends may be required based on production needs)
About the Role:
We’re looking for a reliable and organized Junior Recruiter to support daily hiring and administrative processes for a high-volume Tier 1 Automotive manufacturing client in Sterling Heights. This is an on-site position embedded directly at the client’s location, where you'll play a critical role in ensuring a smooth candidate experience and efficient onboarding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-screening candidates and scheduling interviews
- Conducting in-person interviews with potential hires
- Administering and coordinating drug tests and background checks
- Enrolling new hires into the company’s clock-in/timekeeping system
- Assisting with onboarding paperwork and documentation
- Supporting general administrative and recruiting tasks as needed
- Maintaining accurate records of candidate progress and onboarding steps
- Communicating with production supervisors and HR team on hiring needs
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a recruiting or HR assistant role preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Tech-savvy and able to learn internal systems quickly
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Must be able to adapt to changing production and hiring needs
