Job Description Summary

Reporting to the Talent Strategy Leader of Empowered, this role will lead the design and deployment of key Empowered programs to 1) drive a culture of employee led, people leader support careers at GE Vernova and 2) build a stronger skills foundation throughout talent practices.

  • Create and own the plan to drive increased standardization of process and tools for "Empowered Talent Management" practices serving all employees across GE Vernova
  • Drive key mindset shifts and foundational changes within our organization. This role is critical in shaping our talent management philosophy globally, ensuring alignment with our overarching business objectives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure talent strategies are integrated into broader organizational objectives.
  • Lead the multi-phased global rollout of a talent marketplace platform, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders (HRBPs, Talent, L&D, DT, and Business Leaders) to align with strategic objectives and ensure successful adoption
  • Develop and implement standardized processes, policies, and frameworks for the talent marketplace & the philosophies to support Empowered TM.
  • Champion a skills-first philosophy, advocating to integrate skills taxonomy into job architecture, learning strategies, talent acquisition processes, and talent marketplace functionality
  • Develop robust communication and change management strategies to enable a culture of self led careers, fostering connections, valuing feedback and building a curious mindset
  • Establish KPIs and success metrics for the marketplace (e.g., internal mobility rates, time-to-fill, opportunity match rates).
  • Scan externally for innovation in talent management and benchmark for unique practices that have relevance for GE Vernova   
  • Collaborate with peers, talent leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure enabling communications approach, technology and analytics align with and support talent strategy  
  • Identify opportunities and partner with key product teams to leverage technology to support standardization and employee experience

Required Qualifications

  • Significant experience (~15 years) in an HR and/or talent related role
  • Demonstrates critical thinking, creativity and flexibility to navigate a dynamic environment
  • Strong project management skills including global standard work creation, experience design and implementing enterprise-wide global solutions
  • Proven experience designing or implementing HR technology solutions, ideally Workday

  • Familiarity with skills-based talent strategies, and the evolving HR tech ecosystem.
  • Strong analytical capability – able to analyze data and draw conclusions and recommendations  
  • Proven experience designing or implementing HR technology solutions, ideally Workday
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; effectively collaborates with and influences various business and cross-functional partners and stakeholders  
  • Demonstrated global mindset and cultural awareness/sensitivity  
  • Effectively balances a collaborative, team-oriented style with the ability to work independently

If contracted in the US:

The base pay range for this position is $142,000 - 210,000 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus. This posting is expected to close on 7/24/25.
