HR Coordinator

Greenworks, a leading global manufacturer in sustainable outdoor power equipment with over 20 years of innovation, is seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to support employee-related functions across multiple locations in North America. The role entails recruitment, onboarding, compliance, employee engagement, and managing vendor communications within a fast-paced environment.

Skills

  • Technical proficiency with HR software including ADP, ATS, background screening, and salary platforms.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
  • Ability to track and report HR metrics effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with employees and management.
  • Understanding of federal and state employment laws applied in daily HR activities.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple ongoing tasks and detailed record keeping.
  • Problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with hiring processes including job postings, application screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding new hires.
  • Facilitate drug and background screening processes and provide feedback on candidates to Talent Acquisition.
  • Conduct training seminars such as OSHA, forklift, and first aid, maintaining attendance records for compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with Department of Labor, EEOC, and federal/state employment laws including maintaining posters and communications.
  • Develop and send company-wide emails and communications professionally.
  • Maintain organized records and execute daily HR tasks efficiently.
  • Support positive employee engagement through events and communications.
  • Handle confidential employee records and sensitive company information with discretion.
  • Manage workplace conflict by addressing and resolving employee issues.
  • Perform other HR duties as assigned.

Education

  • Associate Degree or equivalent work experience of 5-7 years in HR or related field.
