POSITION OVERVIEW:
Guardian is an established Roofing & Gutter company seeking a dynamic and strategic Branch Manager to lead our Portland branch and ensure its sustained success in a high-growth, new market by delivering outstanding customer service and serving as the bridge between our operations and sales teams, driving alignment, accountability, and results.
The Branch Manager owns all aspects of branch performance, including sales execution, operational efficiency, customer experience, and team growth and development.
The ideal candidate is an inspiring leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, knows how to build and coach strong teams, and has a sharp eye for operational execution and process consistency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for day-to-day leadership and support of the Portland production and sales teams.
· Foster a culture of ownership, safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across all roles.
· Monitor and drive performance metrics related to revenue, profit, and customer satisfaction to meet or exceed branch goals.
· Ensure consistent adoption of Guardian’s operating procedures and systems to maintain quality and customer satisfaction.
· Partner with Sales team leadership to ensure alignment on goals, lead follow-up, and customer experience.
· Monitor sales pipeline and support process adherence, lead coverage, and closing efficiency.
· Oversee smooth execution of production schedules, maintaining high standards in quality, timeliness, and customer communication.
· Hire, onboard, and retain high-performing talent across both sales and operations functions.
· Create opportunities for employee feedback and development by conducting performance reviews and providing skill-building opportunities.
· Handle escalated customer or employee issues with professionalism and discretion, ensuring timely resolution in alignment with Guardian’s values and standards.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Proven leadership experience in a branch, field, or general management capacity, ideally in construction, home services, or a related industry.
· Strong operational and/or sales acumen with demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams.
· Experience building or scaling a team in a new or developing market is a plus.
· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
· Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
· Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
· High comfort level with data and KPIs; ability to translate numbers into actionable improvements.
· Familiarity with CRM, scheduling, and/or field service management tools is preferred.
· Must be able to successfully pass a preemployment drug screen and background check.
· Excellent time management & organization skills.
· Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time
· Must be comfortable to be on roofs and climb ladders as needed, sometimes up to 40 ft tall
· Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
LOCATION & SHIFT:
Must be able to report daily to Guardian's Facility located in Wilsonville, OR
Monday - Friday with occasional weekend availability
