JOB SUMMARY:

In-Shape Fitness is seeking a strategic and results-driven Ecommerce Marketing Analyst to join our Digital Marketing team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Growth Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing and optimizing digital acquisition channels, driving incremental lead generation and new membership sales. You will deliver actionable insights, enhance reporting infrastructure, and collaborate cross-functionally to support efficient, data-driven growth.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Channel Performance & Insights:

  • Analyze core KPIs and acquisition channels to identify opportunities for lead generation, new membership units (NMUs) and increased lifetime value (LTV). 
  • Lead channel-level measurement and performance analysis, providing strategic recommendation to optimize spend and maximize ROI. 
  • Support and execute Media Mix Modeling (MMM) to inform channel spend allocation and improve cost per acquisition (CPA) and incremental NMU contribution.

Reporting & Data Visualization:

  • Manage and continuously improve reporting for the Growth Marketing team, ensuring accuracy and clarity of insights.
  • Enhance and maintain Tableau and other internal dashboards; streamline reporting processes for efficiency.

Website & User Experience Analytics:

  • Analyze prospect behavior across the website, including on-site engagement, online checkout abandonment, and user journeys, to optimize conversion rate.
  • Design and evaluate website A/B tests to improve site design, content, and functionality.
  • Continuously analyze the prospect lead journeys (online and in-club) and provide actionable recommendations to drive incremental NMU volume and improve lead-to-join conversion based on your findings.

Market & Competitive Analysis:

  • Conduct regular analysis to identify market trends, competitive benchmarking and inform strategy. 
  • Provide actionable recommendations to maintain a competitive edge.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Present complex data findings to cross-functional teams and leadership in a clear, actionable manner.
  • Contribute proactively to the overall marketing strategy and team initiatives.
  • Deliver ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, data analytics, statistics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a Marketing Analyst in a B2C business (retail or fitness industry preferred)
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools and techniques, including Excel, Tableau; experience with SQL is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and familiarity with digital marketing channels (Meta, Google, CTV, etc.)
  • Knowledge of e-commerce best practices, online consumer behavior, and industry trends.
  • Experience with A/B testing, and experimentation methodologies is a plus.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to assess client needs and propose effective solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights articulate complex data findings to cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work professionally and effectively with people at all levels of the organization with physical locations spread throughout the portfolio
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintain a structured work environment and regularly meet department and company deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented and able to work independently in a fast paced, team-oriented atmosphere
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams)
  • Displays good judgment, confidentiality and diplomacy in handling important company information and communicating with others
  • Demonstrates professionalism, cooperation, and ability to work well with others
  • Passion for fitness, health, and wellness is a plus

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently required to walk and stand up to 8 hours/day and/or sit for extended periods of time. Team members are occasionally required to use hands and fingers for handle or feel; occasional reach, push and pulling with arms and hands; occasional climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and occasionally reach and twist, including side-to-side movements. Team members working in the clubs may be required to occasionally lift, carry or move up to 25 pounds and may seldom be required to lift, carry or move 26-50 pounds.
