- Expertise in Python, C/C++, Go, Zeek scripting, Javascript, and Typescript.
- Strong knowledge of network security, incident response, and threat hunting.
- Proven installation, configuration, and administration experience with UNIX/Linux, Windows, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and virtualization technologies (ESXi, Hyper-v, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong networking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work odd hours including on-call and weekend coverage.
Responsibilities
- Gather, organize, and analyze problem details for resolution or escalation.
- Mentor and develop processes for Staff and Escalation Engineers.
- Participate in Engineering meetings and disseminate information to support teams.
- Coach customers and Support engineers to accelerate problem resolution.
- Provide best practices and accelerated support for Corelight solutions.
- Identify issues and develop solutions including changes on customer networks and systems.
- Coordinate across teams to advocate for customers and maintain satisfaction.
Education
- MS in Computer Science or related fields or equivalent experience.
