Overview

As a Product & Supply Chain Manager will oversee La La Land sourcing capabilities and supply chain. Responsible for finding and evaluating suppliers, products and services, negotiating contracts and acquiring the most cost-efficient deals without compromising on quality, planning, implementing and monitoring the overall supply chain strategy and in order to maximize efficiency and productivity. Also, will lead full new product launches onboarding and execution for all locations. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead product development, introducing new drinks, menu items, and flavors (i.e., introducing a drink every month)
  • Update the menu and consistently improve new ideas and offerings
  • Collaborates with other departments (PR/Marketing) to create branded products and merchandise for retail sale
  • Update merchandise store displays accordingly
  • Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors (i.e., Sysco, Cintas, Wholesale)
  • Negotiating terms and prices with suppliers and freight companies, monitoring and assessing their performance and maintaining cost-effective practices to secure advantageous terms
  • Identifying and minimizing risk by predicting the demand for products and adopting new technology with no interruption by performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements
  • Responsible for Quality Assurance of all stores
  • Managing inventory, packing quality and distributing
  • Establishes performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain
  • Develops and maintains detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the company, at warehouse
  • Analyzes current inventories and procedures; suggests improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company
  • Liaising with key company employees to determine their product and service needs
  • Identifying areas for improvement to continually drive performance and business results
  • Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services
  • Controlling the budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on costs
  • Create secret shopper checklist to ensure quality assurance is mainstream throughout all locations
  • Coordinate monthly secret shopper for Quality Assurance for all locations
  • Sourcing and quality control
  • Market comprehension - attending events and training
  • Responsible for the coffee and matcha program and prepare for roasting coffee
  • Maintain coffee culture and standards in stores with Operations
  • Hosts latte art throwdowns between stores

Requirements

Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field required
  • Three years of experience as a supervisor, manager, or similar relevant position required.
  • Previous working experience as a Supply Chain Manager for 3 years
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
  • Team player
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access).
  • Management and leadership skills.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
