JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Perform project management and plastic product development in the manufacturing industry.
2. Utilize technical experience to validate high-volume, high cavitation, multi-stage injection molding dies and assembly automation systems.
3. Launch and manage CapEx investment projects.
4. Create and execute project work plans on Microsoft Project and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
5. Review deliverables and compile information in a digestible format before passing to client. 
6. Apply current methodology and enforce project standards by complying with project guidelines and company standards. 
7. Partner with the Quality department to prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
8. Manage project budget, analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization.
9. Identify business development and "add-on" sales opportunities.
10. Lead cross functional teams in the development and introduction of new programs into the lean manufacturing environment. 
11. Track performance metrics and manage ramp-up action plans to achieve operational performance targets.
12. Estimate or revise costs on existing or new molding/assembly programs and direct modifications and changes to existing molds from customer revisions.
13. Work with the engineering team on RFQs meeting project guidelines to acquire equipment prices for new and revised programs.
14. Utilize statistical analysis with Minitab to determine process performance and capability (ppk) for root cause analysis and troubleshooting solutions.
15. Understand lean and continuous improvement practices, injection molding technologies, tooling, materials, and processing.
16. Use ERP (SAP equivalent) software to manage Purchase Orders, Account Management, Production Orders, and BOM maintenance.
17. Perform work using FOT, FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) at domestic, Asian, and European mold vendors.
18. Develop dFMEA, pFMEA, and risk analysis matrices
19. Use GD&T system and interpret 2D Technical drawings and 3D models 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 3 years of experience in job offered or 3 years of experience in the Related Occupation. 

RELATED OCCUPATION:

Project Engineer or any other job title performing all listed job duties.

POSITION RANGE:  $116,438.00 - $135,000 Salaried (This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.)
