As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of recruiters to develop and implement a talent strategy that enables the business to attract and recruit top talent to Shaw. You will partner with HR leaders in the Manufacturing division and business leaders to understand the business goals to meet current and future talent needs. You will also be responsible for regular evaluation of our recruiting tools, processes and tactics to ensure we hire the best talent for Shaw. This position will work in a hybrid way from our Dalton, GA offices.
Responsibilities:
Partners with HRBPs and business partners to develop a talent acquisition strategy and ensures alignment of recruiting needs
Provides leadership guidance and oversight of our screening and selection process in evaluating candidates
Regularly evaluates recruiting tactics, processes, technology and resources to ensure alignment to business priorities
Monitors recruiting effectiveness metrics to ensure alignment with business direction, and makes adjustments as needed
Proactively supports efforts to simplify and enhance both the candidate and hiring manager experience
Provides leadership and coaching to team of Talent Acquisition Recruiters
Shares knowledge and identifies opportunities for candidates, both internal and external, and is a resource to them in their professional development.
Provides appropriate direction and coaching that may impact future career decisions.
Supports and engage in associate retention and development activities, in coordination with HR business partners.
Ensures processes are compliant with Federal, State and Local legal requirements
Effectively partners with Early Careers and Workforce Development teams to nurture and develop effective talent pipelines.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
Preferred Work Experience:
Human Resource/Leadership Experience - 5 years
Specialized Experience in Recruiting/Talent Sourcing - 5 years
Management Experience - 5+ years
Expert knowledge of recruitment trends and technologies
Expert knowledge of staffing and employment practices
Expert knowledge of social recruiting trends
