Responsibilities
- Prepare legal documents and correspondence including pleadings and briefs
- Draft answers, discovery responses, and other litigation documents
- Maintain electronic and physical legal files
- Calculate and track legal deadlines
- Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, depositions, hearings, and court dates
- Proofread and review contracts, ordinances, resolutions, motions, and other legal documents
- Assist with copying, scanning, phone calls, and public inquiries
Education
- Associate degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Office Administration or related field
