What Will You Do?


To support the overall successful operations of Thompson IT services. This is an on-site position.

  • Maintain, Repair, and Upgrade all technology hardware
  • Create, transfer, and terminate employee accounts.
  • Customize and deploy apps and software
  • Create and update process maps, flowcharts, and playbooks for all internal IT workflows
  • Respond to user helpdesk requests for service and escalate according to SLAs within agreed upon KPI timeframes
  • Perform routine walkthroughs of facilities to ensure critical system functionality, maintain IT presence, and make needed corrections
  • Create, Maintain, and Update documentation infrastructure including IT Glue, SharePoint, and OneDrive
  • Act as primary administrator for all front end software systems in which IT holds primary responsibility
  • Troubleshoot and maintain Copiers, Printers, and Print Servers, and Papercut software
  • Maintain IT inventory for all hardware, licenses, toner, and accessories
  • Act as Primary MDM administrator
  • Train staff and create e-learning modules on proper equipment use, current software, or new features as needed
  • Prepare shared spaces for critical meetings
  • Actively participate in development and implementation of new IT-related projects
  • Act as a liaison between Thompson and specified vendors / contractors as needed.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with all departments and staff, promoting collaborative efforts to meet agency objectives.
  • Perform routine system audits, IT maintenance tasks, and keep detailed documentation of findings
  • Be primary administrator for the DocuSign Enterprise Environment.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the IT Manager

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a 4 year college or technical school in computer science or related field or 3+ years of professional IT hands on experience.
  • Requires PC and IT skills including Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, Server 2019/2022, and Exchange.
  • Must understand installation, configuration and troubleshooting processes for software, hardware, and basic networking.
  • Knowledge of Ubiquiti devices, iOS management, IT Glue, and DocuSign desired.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and meet any credentialing, licensing and privileging standards as it pertains to the program (s) you lead
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite application software, excellent written and oral communication skills. 
  • All potential job candidates must pass a drug screening test, and an extensive background check is required.
