Purpose
Provide support for one of three Assistant Directors and the teams they oversee in Texas Global Education Abroad and support for Freeman Scholars program and other scholarship programming and administration
Responsibilities
Support the promotion of Education Abroad events and programs:
Support EA administrative and student enrollment processes:
Promote Freeman Scholars to students, departments, listservs, career centers, and student organizations:
Preference will be given to applicants who are detail-oriented, organized, flexible, familiar with data tracking and analysis, and can work independently and accurately with little supervision. Advanced use and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, problem solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, public speaking, and previous office work experience. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Knowledge of University administrative processes and customer service experience is helpful. Prior study abroad experience.
$20.00/hour
Standard office environment. Working hours will generally be between Monday -Friday, 8:00 - 5:00, to be scheduled with supervisor.
