Location: Onsite 4 days per week Farmers Branch, TX
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
In this role you will provide technical assistance and support related to the IT lab, which is responsible for deploying technology equipment to the business. As an End User Services Technician, you will be responsible for provisioning/imaging desktops, laptops, and iPads, tracking inventory, and deploying equipment to end users.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Apply the company image on equipment as needed
Track and maintain IT inventory daily
Work with Purchasing Administrator to keep IT inventory stocked
Maintain IT lab ticket queue and spreadsheets for tracking company equipment needs
Receive and sort equipment deliveries as needed
Maintain the cleanliness and function of the IT lab
Provide technical assistance, as needed, to users as they receive computers from the lab
Assist in the recovery and inventory of equipment during the offboarding of employees
QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with Intune/Endpoint manager or other MDM solution
Basic understanding of how to write and run batch files and PowerShell scripts
Enjoy being in an open collaborative team environment
Well organized and takes pride in work done well
Technical understanding of hardware configurations and connectivity
Education/Experiences/Certifications
Highschool diploma
IT related training/certification encouraged
Familiar with operating systems (Windows/MacOS/Ios)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Role is primarily in-office and requires ‘core’ availability (8:00 am – 5:00 pm)
Role may require ability to lift 35-50 pounds, climbing under desks, standing for extended periods, bending over, and other physical activities related to equipment deployment and recovery
