AHRC NYC is looking to hire a Case Manager for our Queens Employment Business Services (EBS) program.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM (35 hours/week), with occasional evenings and weekends for recruitment events.
Salary: $38,000-$42,000 per year plus a low-to-no cost, comprehensive health benefit package. See Benefit information below
Essential Responsibilities
Oversees coordination and direction of services for the pre-employment caseload
Provides excellent customer service to participants and partners
Conducts work readiness lessons for program participants
Collaborates closely with the job development team to support participant employment
Develops and maintains relationships with funding sources, service providers, schools and training sites, employers, participants and their families
Ensures compliance with program requirements and regulations
Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
Experience in instructing or mentoring program participants
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently when needed
