The Accounting Clerk will play a critical role within the finance department, focused on maintaining timely and accurate records of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and employee expense processing. A key responsibility includes managing travel-related expense workflows through Concur/Acumatica and supporting audit readiness. This position reports to the Accounting Manager and is based on-site in Perry, FL.
Requirements
We’re seeking a detail-oriented, dependable accounting professional who thrives in transactional environments. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of AP and AR workflows, hands-on experience with travel and expense systems (particularly Concur), and a knack for working collaboratively across departments.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Monitor and process daily accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
· Administer employee travel and expense reports via Concur, including review, reconciliation, and escalation when necessary
· Match invoices, purchase orders, and packing slips for completeness and proper authorization
· Prepare payment runs and support vendor inquiries and resolution of discrepancies
· Post cash receipts and assist with collections communications as needed
· Maintain accurate records of transactions in ERP systems
· Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliation of AP/AR sub-ledgers
· Prepare reports related to payables, receivables, and employee reimbursements
· Assist with internal and external audit support and document requests
· Perform other related duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager
Required Skills & Abilities:
· Familiarity with ERP systems and electronic invoice workflows
· Strong attention to detail with data entry and transactional accuracy
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
· Experience with Concur or similar T&E platforms strongly preferred
· Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
Education & Experience:
· Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
· 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general accounting support
· Prior experience managing travel and expense reports preferred
Physical Demands:
· Must be able to accurately exchange information with internal team members, vendors, and customers
· Occasionally moves files and boxes of records weighing up to 20 lbs.
· Constantly operates a computer and office equipment
· Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods
