About the Candidate Experience Specialist Position
The Candidate Experience Specialist (CX Specialist) plays a vital role in guiding new hires—drivers, attendants, and location staff—through their onboarding journey, from offer acceptance to the start of in-person training. As the primary point of contact, the CX Specialist ensures a seamless and positive experience by coordinating training schedules, managing documentation, and overseeing compliance checks.
This position is remote, but will primarily support our operations inYonkers and Mount Vernon, NY.
Key Responsibilities
• Guide candidates through the full onboarding process, including offers, documentation, and compliance
• Schedule and coordinate remote, onsite, or hybrid training sessions
• Serve as the main point of contact for new hires, providing timely support and communication
• Ensure accurate completion of hiring documentation and background checks
• Maintain candidate records inWorkday
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, HR, Training, Safety, and Operations teams
• Use Workday and other tools to track candidate progress and onboarding status
• Monitor KPIs such as time-to-hire and training readiness
• Ensure compliance with EEO, ADA, Affirmative Action, and company policies
• Deliver exceptional customer service to candidates and internal stakeholders
• Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance onboarding
Candidate Experience Specialist Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1+ years of experience in customer service, onboarding, recruiting, or HR
• Experience in a metrics-driven environment
• Proficiency withWorkday, Microsoft Office Suite, and comfort usingAI tools such as ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• High sense of urgency and effective time management
