NOTE: This role is hybrid and requires 3 days a week onsite in our Walnut Creek, CA office.

Job Summary:

We’re seeking an experienced Executive Assistant with Chief of Staff capabilities to serve as a strategic partner to our leadership team. The ideal candidate understands the automotive ecosystem, brings operational savvy, and is capable of handling high-level business functions, from calendaring and stakeholder management to strategic planning and industry representation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted right hand to the executive, handling day-to-day management, priorities, and communications

  • Coordinate strategic initiatives, product rollouts, and cross-functional team activities

  • Act as a liaison between the executive office and internal/external stakeholders (suppliers, OEMs, investors, dealers)

  • Maintain tight control over complex calendars, travel, and high-stakes meetings

  • Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and board-level communications

  • Lead or support confidential projects such as M&A, restructuring, or product recalls

  • Optimize executive focus and capacity by managing information flow and decision triage

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of experience supporting a C-level executive, ideally in the automotive or manufacturing sector

  • Familiarity with the inner workings of OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and dealership networks

  • Proven ability to manage projects, teams, and high-pressure scenarios

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Discretion, loyalty, and the ability to act with integrity at all times

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or operational experience in a startup or enterprise a plus

  • Highly organized, systems-oriented, and proactive

  • Calm under pressure with a strong orientation towards execution

  • Diplomatic, perceptive, and discreet

  • Passion for automotive innovation and leadership-level strategy

We target between minimum and midpoint of the range, and all offers are subject to a fair pay analysis - Compensation Range: Min: $74,783.00 - Mid: $93,477.00- Max: $112,173.00
