Responsibilities
- Act as dedicated HR partner to the Fleet Operations team, aligning their needs with central HR functions.
- Manage day-to-day HR operations including payroll, benefits, HRIS updates, and compliance for Fleet employees.
- Oversee compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and Canadian CMV regulations related to drivers and fleet operations.
- Serve as trusted advisor to managers and employees on employee relations and workforce issues.
- Support HR lifecycle activities for hourly workforce including onboarding, offboarding, and leave tracking.
- Analyze workforce trends and compliance data to improve HR decision-making and processes.
- Lead culture-building efforts and ensure effective onboarding of new drivers and operational staff.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
