As our Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for the financial reporting and financial analysis of multiple companies that report to our publicly held parent company. In your partnership, you will have the chance to establish strong working relationships with department leaders while acting as their main point of contact for any updates to their budget. You will be responsible for performing the critical function of reporting accurate data, comparing that data to the submitted budget, and providing explanations of any major variances. These results for multiple companies will be reported to our publicly held parent company.
This role will require working in the New Berlin, WI office on a quarterly basis.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Financial reporting. You'll perform the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process; prepare all required journal entries, account reconciliations, financial reporting packages, and supporting schedules. You’ll follow up on and appropriately resolve reconciling items promptly, preparing support and schedules for the interim and year-end external audit.
- Analytical. You will prepare annual budgets and monthly reforecasts for assigned accounts, analyze actual monthly account activity, and provide monthly variance explanations against budget/reforecast.
- System proficiency. You are proficient in a variety of accounting software. You will perform system testing as needed for upgrades or system implementations and report development.
- Solution Oriented. You will assist in researching and resolving accounting, financial, and operations problems/issues. You will analyze processes for efficiencies and suggest improvements.
- Collaboration. You will build strong relationships with GMR internal teams- Procure to Pay, Accounts Receivable, Project Accounting, Business Partners, Financial Systems, and Client Services to ensure that transactions are processed correctly.
The annual range for this role varies between $61K- $65K and may vary depending on the candidate’s experience.
