Executive Assistant to the CFO 

Hippo is a modern insurance company focused on protecting homeowners through tailored coverage and preventative plans. They seek an Executive Assistant to support the CFO by managing calendars, coordinating travel, organizing meetings and events, and driving operational efficiency while handling confidential information with discretion.

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Strong calendar and travel coordination skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines under changing conditions
  • Discretion and integrity handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Experience working with Board of Directors in a publicly traded company setting
  • Copyediting and business document review

Responsibilities

  • Provide seamless support to the CFO and Finance leadership team
  • Manage and optimize calendars with attention to detail and shifting priorities
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel in line with company policies
  • Organize and manage meetings, off-sites, and events involving the Board of Directors and investors
  • Anticipate challenges and plan proactively across staffing, development, and talent pipeline needs
  • Improve processes to enhance efficiency and scalability for the leadership team
  • Plan and integrate organizational calendar priorities
  • Track and drive completion of key deliverables and follow-ups
  • Review and copyedit business documents and executive communications
  • Support and manage small to medium projects aligned with organizational needs

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years supporting leadership in fast-paced environments
