- 15+ years commercial transactional experience in technology or related legal practice
- People management and mentorship abilities
- Advanced drafting, writing, negotiation, and risk evaluation skills
- Strong understanding of intellectual property, software licensing, and cloud computing
- Knowledge of data protection, data privacy, information security, and AI regulations
- Experience with CRM software and automated contract management systems
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple transactions under tight deadlines
Responsibilities
- Review and negotiate inbound and outbound contracts including SaaS, data processing, and business associate agreements with enterprise customers
- Respond to legal requests from various internal departments and determine appropriate courses of action
- Develop and manage contract templates and negotiation playbooks to improve sales contracting efficiency
- Deliver legal trainings and develop materials in collaboration with Sales Enablement
- Stay informed on data protection, data privacy, information security, commercial contracting, and AI-related regulations
- Research and use AI solutions to streamline contract review and respond to customer RFPs
- Collaborate on special projects and with other Legal team members to ensure successful outcomes
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) from accredited law school
- Active bar membership
