Territory Sales Representative

Mid-Atlantic Truck & Equipment (MATE) provides heavy trucks and equipment to municipalities and contractors, supporting critical infrastructure. They seek a driven Territory Sales Representative with mechanical aptitude and a passion for solving real-world problems to own and grow their Southern Maryland sales territory.

Skills

  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical activity related to equipment
  • Clean driving record and willingness to obtain CDL (company sponsored)

Responsibilities

  • Visit customers throughout Washington, D.C. and Southern Maryland
  • Demo equipment, follow up with prospects, and close sales deals
  • Manage and prioritize your sales territory independently
  • Confidently discuss hydraulics, electrical systems, and chassis specifications

Education

  • No specific formal education mandated but mechanical knowledge or experience preferred
