Director, Account Management

OnBoard is a leading board management software company serving thousands of organizations globally. They are seeking a Director of Account Management to lead their account manager team, drive revenue growth, and maximize customer retention through strategic leadership and effective collaboration.

Skills

  • Proficiency in MS Office, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, ChurnZero, and sales analytics tools.
  • Deep knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Account Managers focused on relationship management and value-selling.
  • Define and execute account management strategies to meet revenue and retention targets.
  • Set sales targets, monitor performance, and provide coaching to the team.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in customer accounts.
  • Oversee account plans including customer profiling, SWOT analysis, and sales strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Experience, Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.
  • Manage pipeline and revenue forecasting using Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
  • Continuously improve account management processes and workflows.
  • Keep informed on industry trends and competitor activities to guide strategy.
  • Support renewal negotiations, pricing discussions, and address complex escalation issues.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and retention, implementing improvements as needed.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field required.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
