HR Manager, Millennium

Shearer's is a leading North American snack contract manufacturer and private label supplier with advanced manufacturing facilities. They seek an experienced HR Manager to lead HR functions at their Millennium facility in Massillon, Ohio, overseeing employee relations, retention, compensation, and strategic HR initiatives to support plant and company goals.

Skills

  • Strong data analytics and presentation skills.
  • Effective project management and program execution.
  • Interpersonal and leadership skills fostering positive culture and teamwork.
  • Computer proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Familiarity with complex HRIS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage HR functions and lead coordination at the manufacturing facility.
  • Identify and address employee attrition and improve retention rates.
  • Lead on-boarding process and ensure benefits and HR system accuracy.
  • Provide leadership on associate relations, training, and execution.
  • Develop programs promoting positive workplace relations including union avoidance.
  • Consult on employment policies; approve corrective and termination actions.
  • Collaborate with Safety and Security to ensure regulatory compliance and promote safety culture.
  • Administer workers compensation and manage corporate HR projects.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
