Responsibilities
- Supervise daily shop floor activity and workflow
- Resolve nonconformance issues and document rework
- Lead and manage production technicians including performance reviews
- Review and recommend changes to work instructions
- Assess skill requirements and develop training programs
- Provide data and reporting for departmental metrics
- Monitor labor hours, overtime and implement time management plans
- Drive cost reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives
- Foster collaboration within shifts and across departments
- Identify and mitigate production risks
- Ensure product quality and conformance
- Manage tooling and consumable inventory
- Conduct safety audits and promote continuous improvement
- Improve manpower utilization and productivity
Education
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
- Preferred education in engineering or STEM discipline
