 Position Summary:

The Senior Analyst, Sales Operations plays a strategic role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the sales organization. This individual is responsible for delivering critical reporting, analytics, and operational support to enhance sales performance, improve profitability, and streamline processes. With a strong foundation in data analysis and business intelligence tools, the Senior Analyst will manage performance metrics, maintain pipeline visibility, support contract evaluations, and lead initiatives to optimize territory design and quota setting. In addition to technical expertise, this role requires effective cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Finance, Operations, and IT to align systems, reporting, and strategy in support of organizational goals.

The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and skilled at transforming data into actionable insights that drive growth and efficiency across the sales team.

Due to the highly sensitive nature of the information involved, this position demands strict adherence to confidentiality protocols. You will be expected to maintain ethical handling and secure storage of data, aligned with company standards and legal compliance requirements. You will be expected to exercise the highest levels of discretion, integrity, and judgment in all tasks.

Requirements

Essential Job Functions: 


Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and disseminate target panels and account lists for the sales team to prioritize outreach and maximize impact.
  • Maintain and report on sales performance and pipeline health metrics daily, weekly, and monthly to track trends and progress      against goals.
  • Manage revenue performance reporting for key contracts and strategic accounts, ensuring accuracy and visibility.
  • Track and report on KPIs including new business, renewals, churn, and revenue retention across regions and segments.
  • Build and deliver dashboards, scorecards, and visual presentations for executives and field leadership using Excel, PowerPoint, and other BI tools.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support pricing decisions, customer performance reviews, and territory optimization.

Contract & Profitability Analysis

  • Analyze key contracts and customer segments to identify opportunities for renegotiation, upsell, or cross-sell to optimize profitability.
  • Partner      with Finance to ensure accurate tracking of commissions, bonuses, and incentive compensation plans aligned with contracts and performance.

Process Improvement & Tool Proficiency

  • Develop expertise in accessing, extracting, and analyzing data  through Brightree, a cloud-based business management platform for  post-acute healthcare providers.
  • Manage, clean, and analyze large data sets in Excel, leveraging pivot  tables and advanced formulas to ensure data integrity.
  • Continuously improve reporting processes, automate recurring reports, and recommend enhancements to data quality and analytics capabilities.

Sales Support & Enablement

  • Collaborate      with sales leadership to design and implement quarterly and      annual territory alignments and quota setting.
  • Provide training      and ongoing support to sales team members on tools, reporting, and      data-driven selling strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as      a liaison between Sales, Finance, Operations, and IT to ensure      alignment of data definitions, systems, and processes in support of      business objectives., create dashboards and visualization within      PowerPoint presentations. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in sales operations, business analysis, or a related analytical role
  • Proven experience building and managing dashboards, reports, and KPIs to support sales performance and pipeline analysis
  • Advanced proficiency in  Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data cleansing techniques
  • Strong PowerPoint skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights clearly and visually to executive audiences
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) for building scorecards and visual dashboards
  • Ability to analyze complex contracts and customer data to identify trends and opportunities for revenue optimization
  • Familiarity with commission and incentive compensation structures and collaboration with finance teams
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement and reporting automation
  • Strong understanding of territory alignment and quota setting best practices
  • Comfortable navigating CRM  or sales platforms; experience with Brightree or similar systems preferred
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication  skills and the ability to work cross-functionally across departments
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing, in English.
