By pairing expert stylists with best-in-class AI and recommendation algorithms, the company leverages its assortment of exclusive and national brands to meet each client's individual tastes and needs, making it convenient for clients to express their personal style without having to spend hours in stores or sifting through endless choices online. Stitch Fix, which was founded in 2011, is headquartered in San Francisco.
At Stitch Fix, we’re transforming the way people find what they love by combining technology, data science, and the human instincts of a Stylist. The Discovery & Engagement team plays a pivotal role in this journey by shaping the first impressions and ongoing experiences that help our clients uncover their personal style and deepen their relationship with Stitch Fix.
We sit at the intersection of human creativity and algorithmic precision—collaborating closely with our Merchandising and Data Science partners to deliver style discovery experiences that are both emotionally resonant and technically advanced. Our Merchandising team blends fashion intuition with data-driven insights to curate inspiring, trend-right assortments that feel personal and fresh. Our Data Science and Algos partners develop models that combine expert judgment and machine learning to power personalized, exploratory, and engaging experiences that help clients find what they love, faster.
As a product team, we bring this all to life by creating guided entry points, storytelling moments, and immersive discovery tools that help clients express their style, connect with their stylist, and build a long-term relationship with Stitch Fix. Together, we’re reimagining the way people discover fashion—one meaningful interaction at a time.
We’re seeking a strategic, customer-obsessed Product Manager to lead our Discovery & Engagement product efforts that reimagine how clients first connect with Stitch Fix and how we inspire them to explore, express, and evolve their personal style.
In this high-impact and highly cross-functional role, you’ll bring together the art of style and the science of data to build discovery and engagement experiences that are immersive, personalized, and emotionally resonant. You'll lead the strategy and roadmap for key initiatives that guide clients through their earliest interactions with Stitch Fix, helping them uncover their aesthetic, discover new trends, connect with their stylist, and build confidence in our styling expertise.
You’ll work closely with Merchandising, Styling, Data Science, Engineering, Design, and Marketing to deliver innovative features like a redesigned Home Feed, content creation tools for internal teams and stylists to create engaging content experiences, and onboarding touchpoints that establish trust, excitement, and continued style understanding and refinement for new clients. Your work will drive deeper engagement, longer-term retention, and continuous style refinement that grows with our clients as their preferences and needs evolve over time.
This is a unique opportunity to shape how style discovery happens at Stitch Fix—combining editorial inspiration, intelligent recommendation systems, and a deep understanding of Client needs to deliver experiences that are as smart as they are stylish.
