Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a diverse content team to produce impactful journalism across broadcast, digital, and social platforms.
- Drive strategic alignment between broadcast and digital teams to enhance breaking news, enterprise, and investigative reporting.
- Develop and execute editorial strategy and content plans based on research and audience analytics.
- Hire, coach, and develop high-performing newsroom talent, on air and behind the scenes.
- Conduct content quality reviews and provide constructive feedback to strengthen storytelling.
- Foster cross-department collaboration including with marketing and community engagement.
- Champion an inclusive newsroom culture that values accountability, innovation, and teamwork.
- Stay informed on trends in AI, streaming, social media, and emerging technologies to guide the team.
- Manage content budget in partnership with station leadership.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or related field.
